Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, has explained why he told select party members to reply to questions at Chatham House in London.

 After giving his introductory remarks, the former governor of Lagos State requested Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai to speak about how he would combat insecurity and asked Dele Aleke, the director of strategic communication for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, to address the issue of oil theft.

The APC National Leader also assigned Wale Edun, a former commissioner for finance in Lagos State, to respond to a question about how, if elected president, he would strengthen the economy.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, the former governor of Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi, and the APC National Women's Leader, Dr. Betta Edu, all responded to questions.

The APC flag bearer discussed his choice and said that he gave the questions to demonstrate the team's attitude in facing challenges.

Tinubu remarked, “Let me demonstrate here one of those philosophies and doctrines that I believe firmly in, it is team-ship, unbreakable team. To demonstrate that, I’ll assign it to my team.”
