Don't give up hope for a better Nigeria, Obi urges Nigerians

Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, asked Nigerians to hold onto their aspirations for a better country.

This was said by Obi in his Christmas message to Nigerians in 2022. He urged Nigerians to cling tenaciously to the desire for a better and more prosperous country, saying that the Christmas holiday had given the globe hope.

He reiterated that Christmas is a time of love and that it is important to remember that God donated His only Son for the salvation of mankind every time we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Obi stated: “We, as humans should therefore, endeavor to make sacrifice, even when it is painful, for the good of others and for our society.”

He exhorted Nigerians to seek to live out the actual spirit of the holiday season rather than merely partake in its festivities and glitz.

He exhorted everyone to extend a helping hand to one another, saying that the spirit of Christmas is one of brotherly love and giving to the needy.

Obi advised Nigerians to view the year 2023 as one of the most important in the country's history because it will provide them the chance to change the nation's trajectory by allowing only capable leaders to be in office.

He sent his best wishes to Nigerians for a fruitful and successful new year.
