Nigeria wasn't Christianized by Obasanjo and Jonathan then it won't be Islamicated by Tinubu. – Masari

 Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, has told Nigerians that his party will not Islamize the country, according to Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State.

Masari asserted that if Muhammadu Buhari and past presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan did not Islamize Nigeria, then Tinubu, if elected, will not.

He described how the APC candidate made sure that Muslims and Christians were safeguarded while he was governor of Lagos State.

Masari emphasized that Tinubu was the most competent candidate, saying that even a blind man would choose the APC nominee over the other presidential contenders.

As said by Masari: “Leadership is about justice to the people, even to animals. Lagos is a mini-Nigeria. Both Christians and Muslims, and pagans are in Lagos.

“At a point in time, you cannot drive in Lagos with your car windows widely open because of thieves.

“But when Tinubu became governor for eight years, he brought sanity to Lagos.

“It is baseless to express the fear that Tinubu will Islamise Nigeria. Did Buhari Islamise Nigeria after seven years in office?

“Did Obasanjo Christianise Nigeria after eight years in office? Did Jonathan make Nigeria a Christian country after six years in office?”

After Tinubu decided to run on a Muslim-Muslim ticket, there have been several claims that he may Islamize Nigeria.

However, Tinubu toned down these rumors, pointing out that Remi, his wife, was a devout Christian and an assistant pastor.
