Tinubu's top priority include educating girls and youth.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has stated that if her husband wins the APC presidential nomination next year, he will make youth empowerment and girl-child education a top priority.

At the Tinubu/Shettima Women Campaign's North-East Zonal Flag-Off, Oluremi made this statement. On December 10, 2022, a highly amazing event took place at the Sports Centre in Maiduguri.

Speaking at the ceremony, Oluremi commended the region's young for their overwhelmingly positive support and told the audience that, should their husbands win the APC vice-presidential nomination in 2023, she and Hajiya Nana Shettima will work together.

“I want to particularly recognize the efforts of our youth today. Coming out today despite this being the women’s campaign is very encouraging for us and I can assure you that Hajiya Nana Shettima and I will work together as a team.”

She added that the Tinubu/Shettima administration's main priorities will be developed.

“I can assure you that youth unemployment will be on the front burner of the Tinubu/Shettima administration. Also, women empowerment and the education of the girl-child because before you can empower a woman, the woman has to have a form of education and education is very key to the growth of our women, not only in the North-East but in the country as a whole.

“Because when you educate one woman, you’ve really done well for the entire household, not to speak of the entire nation”, she said.

also promised to give the North-East's women the assistance and attention they require.

“Earlier today, we were at the governor’s office to pay him a courtesy visit and there, we were able to realize that the women of the Northeast will need a lot more tender loving care. They need our assistance and I can assure you and promise you that we will be there.”

Among those present at the event, which was hosted by Dr. Falmata Zulum, the wife of the governor of Borno state and the North-East zonal coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team, were the spouses of the APC presidential candidate and team chairman, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; the spouse of the APC vice-presidential candidate and former first lady of Borno State, Hajiya Nana Shettima and some numerous prominent women from the party, including hajiya Zainab Ibrahim, the APC's deputy national women's leader, were also there.

The North-East zonal rally is the sixth in a line of women's gatherings hosted by the APC presidential campaign's women's wing since its founding in October 2022.
