It has just been announced that JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board) has shifted the date for the 2023 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) mock examination. According to Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, the date has been changed from Thursday, March 16th to Thursday, March 30th.
This sudden change has come about because of the postponed governorship elections. Instead of the initial date of March 11th, the elections have been shifted to the 18th of March. This change, however, did not go unnoticed as the mock examination of the UTME was directly affected by the same.
The mock exam is compulsory for all candidates in order to be familiar with the CBT format of the actual UTME that will be conducted from May 5th to June 19th, 2021. For the few days that have been shifted, it is very important for all candidates to understand that this is necessary for a better preparedness for the main examination.

This is also a reminder for candidates to take their UTME mock examination very seriously, to be properly acquainted with the general guidelines and modalities of the examination, and to know the types of questions and structure of the computer-based test.
Candidates should always stay updated with news, check their emails and the JAMB official portal regularly to be informed on new rules, regulations, and updates of the exam. Furthermore, we recommend that you stay calm and relaxed during the entire period of the examination as a confident attitude plays a major role in making the entire examination period easier.
