Inuwa Yahaya, the governor of Gombe State, has guaranteed that Bola Tinubu will be able to deliver if elected president in 2023.
He said that the candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) has already declared his intention to continue President Muhammadu Buhari's legacy.
Yahaya delivered the comment in the Amada village in the Akko Local Government Area, at the residence of HRH Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, the Lamido Gona.
The governor claimed that throughout his two terms in office, President Buhari did a good job.
“We need consolidation, that’s why we are going to vote for Tinubu”, NAN quoted him.
“Tinubu has promised to continue with the good works of Buhari by ensuring good governance.”
In the general election, Yahaya asked the residents of the emirate to support APC candidates.
He stated that the party was pleased with the implementation of the Bimodal Voter Authentication System in the Garko ward of the Akko LGA (BVAS).
“We are confident that with BVAS, Tinubu and all APC candidates will win.”
Yahaya went on to say that the governing platform had made significant progress and had a sizable following throughout Nigeria.
